Sealers

Many people have questions about sealers.  What are they, and what do they really do?  There are basically two types of sealers: Impregnating sealers and Topical sealers.  Impregnating sealers soak into the capillaries (little tiny holes) of the stone or grout and coat them so that water, dirt and other substances cannot stick.  Topical sealers remain on the top surface of the material, and are often used on Mexican Pavers and slate.  Topical sealers are generally not recommended for exterior use. 
We use top quality sealers, both water-based and alcohol-based and apply them under strict guidelines from the manufacturer.  We give you information and options so that you can choose the sealer that is best suited for your specific needs.
